Support

Your answer is already written down.

Nyx Backup and its documentation are built so you can solve things yourself, in seconds - no ticket, no waiting. Start with the guides below: they cover setup, restores, licensing, and the fix for anything that goes wrong.

Your data is always recoverable

Restoring is never blocked - not by a lapsed trial, an expired license, or a seat limit. You can always get your files back in the app, or with the free Recovery Tool.

No account to lose

There is no login and no server that has to be up. Your license is a signed file verified on your own machine, so a support outage never locks you out of your own backups.

Nothing leaves your machine

We never receive your data or your keys, so we can't see your files - and we won't ask you to send them. Logs and settings stay local; share only what you choose.

Still can't find it?

That should be rare - but if the docs genuinely don't cover your case, write to support@nyxbackup.com. To get the fastest, most useful answer, include:

  • Your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux) and the Nyx Backup version (Settings shows it).
  • What you were doing and what you expected to happen.
  • The exact message you saw - copy the text rather than describing it.
  • For a failing backup or restore, which storage backend the set uses.

The logs on your machine often hold the detail we need; their locations are listed in Troubleshooting. Send only what you're comfortable sharing - we never need your files, your passphrase, or your storage keys, and we will never ask for them.

For privacy questions or a data request, write to privacy@nyxbackup.com. See the Privacy Statement for what we do and don't collect.
