Renew your updates

Your license never expires and Nyx Backup keeps working whether or not you renew. Renewing extends the window during which you can install newer releases.

Find it in Nyx Backup under Settings › License, at the top of your nyxbackup.lic file, or in your purchase email.

Renewal checkout opens at launch.

How renewal works

  • Renewal is per license, not per seat. A Pro license renews once and covers all five machines.
  • Skipped years are not owed. If you let the window lapse for three years and then renew, you pay for one year, not four, and get the current release immediately.
  • You receive a new license file - replace your existing one.
  • If you never renew, nothing breaks. You keep running the last release you were entitled to, forever, and restore always works.

Not sure which tier you have? It is on the edition line of your license file. To move up a tier instead, upgrade your edition.
